SPARK is so proud our collaboration with Garfield third grade teachers Mrs. Vidika & Mrs. Collier won a Medina City Schools Highlighting Innovation Award for their work with SPARK Medina. We joined forces to educate and take action to combat food insecurity in our community by building and supplying snack packs to Liittle Free Food Pantries in Medina. Garfield families generously donated snacks, SPARK executed curriculum that prompted insightful & empathetic conversation, and we all took action building and delivering snack packs to three of the LFFP in walking distance of the school.
