A youth led project that teaches about social exclusion due to poverty created 45 birthday bags as a part of Youth Serve America Global Youth Service Day. The youth who applied for the grant helped design our program, create a budget, and source supplies for the project! Thank you to our friend, Kate Lindon, for helping us us with newspaper coverage for this event, in partnership with our youth group friends at Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational. Huge thanks to The Hershey Company for the Heartwarming Project Grants and Youth Serve America.
