The service learning class at Medina Senior High School worked diligently over the course of a quarter to build a new curriculum with SPARK Medina that can be repeated throughout Medina County. The students thoughtfully researched and interacted with staff members from CUPS Collective to hear about their daily practices and identify an ongoing need for patrons. The end result is a meal kit that contains a recipe and shelf stable ingredients contained within, making it another friendly option to offer through CUPS Collective or in Little Free Food Pantries across Medina County. SPARK Medina appreciates Laura Calaiacovo and her high school students for sharing their class and talents. We also thank Julie Condit and her first grade class at Fenn Elementary for allowing us to visit their classroom to create the very first Meal Kits!
