We are grateful to the youth of Medina United Church of Christ Congregational for building a Habitat for Humanity House welcome basket with us. A few of us had the privilege of delivering the basket and witnessing the emotional day the new owner received her keys.
From a youth in attendance:
"We saw Megan and her two sons finally get a home and a yard to play in and a place to make forever memories. Megan talked about always feeling nervous about rent raises, difficult neighbors, no yard for her boys, and worries about safety. I think it is important that we all take a second to think about what we have that other may not and really truly appreciate those things."
So impressed with the work Habitat for Humanity Medina County is doing for our neighbors.
Congratulations to Megan and her sons!
