SPARK at home: Combatting Period Poverty

This SPARK at home event can be done at yourfamily's convenience during the month of September using our period poverty guide, which allows flexibility for grown ups to determine how to include the youth in their household.  Upon registering for the event, you will receive an email with more information including the project guide.  

1 in 5 American menstruators have skipped or left school early because of lack of access to menstrual products, inability to clean clothing, and inadequate education on how to use products.  We can work together to try to combat this form of poverty for young menstruators in our county.

In addition to traditional products, we are focusing on economically & environmentally sustainable products, including period underwear, to make a greater impact on menstruaters experiencing poverty.

Ways you can prepare NOW:

⚡️Supply donations will include items from this list (that can be purchased from your vendor of choice or shipped directly).

⚡️Let us know if you would like to coordinate a drive with a group.

⚡️Please contact us if you have cosmetic bags (make up bonus bags like Clinique, IPSY, Thrive Causemetics, etc.).  These mitigate our need to purchase supply bags and allow us to create more packs.

⚡️Donate a tax deductible gift to our 501c3 to cover our most needed items to fulfill school nurse wishes and to create even numbers of supplies for the packs.

⚡️Friends in menopause: we CAN accept open packages of supplies as long as they are INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED.
